Spring Break Camp Atlanta

Josh Powell Camp is Atlanta's premier spring break camp, located in Acworth, GA — just 30 minutes north of Atlanta. We offer convenient bus pickup from three locations across metro Atlanta (Trinity Presbyterian on Moores Mill Rd, Kairos Church at I-285 & Riverside, and Roswell Cultural Arts Center) or you can drive directly to our scenic 30-acre campus at 5242 Wade Green Rd NW, Acworth, GA 30102.

Unlike indoor spring break camps, Josh Powell Camp gets kids outside for real outdoor adventure in March and April's perfect Georgia weather. We've been Atlanta's trusted spring camp for over 50 years, offering activities like archery, swimming, canoeing, ropes courses, and fort building. Our experienced teacher-led staff and 30-acre outdoor campus make us the best day camp for spring break in Atlanta.

Our goal is to make spring day camp affordable for every family. Because every kid deserves to experience summer camp.

That’s why we offer an option to pay by the day. Sending a child to day camp for a whole week can become expensive for some families, so we offer a 2 to 5 day spring camp experience.

Kids aged 5-10 are welcome at our Atlanta spring break camp! Josh Powell Camp is the ideal place for your students to learn and have fun during March or April, whether this is their first spring camp or they're seasoned adventurers. We group kids by age to ensure age-appropriate activities and friend-making opportunities.

We're located at 5242 Wade Green Rd NW, Acworth, GA 30102 — a scenic 30-acre campus just 30 minutes from Atlanta. We offer daily bus pickup and drop-off from three convenient locations:

• Trinity Presbyterian Church — 3003 Moores Mill Rd NW, Atlanta

• Kairos Church — I-285 & Riverside Dr, Atlanta

• Roswell Cultural Arts Center — 950 Forrest St, Roswell

For spring camp, we recommend your child bring:

• Weather-appropriate clothing (layers are great for spring!)

• Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or hiking boots)

• Water bottle

• Packed lunch and snacks

• Light jacket (mornings can be cool)

• Sunscreen

We'll send you a complete packing list when you register.

Yes! Josh Powell Camp is a day camp, not an overnight camp. Campers arrive each morning (either via bus pickup or parent drop-off) and go home each afternoon. All our spring break camp sessions are day camp programs running from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily.

Our spring break camp runs 5 to 9 April 2027, which aligns with the most common break week across metro Atlanta. Yes. Our spring break camp is bookable as 2, 3, 4 or 5 days at a flat $100 per day, so you pay only for the days you need. Plenty of families book two or three days around other plans, and campers who come for part of the week settle in just as quickly as those who come for all five.
