Located on 30 beautiful acres in Acworth, Georgia (just 30 minutes north of Atlanta), our family-owned day camp serves families across Cobb County, Fulton County, Gwinnett County, and beyond.

In an era dominated by technology and indoor entertainment, Josh Powell Camp offers something increasingly rare: genuine outdoor adventure. Our campers spend their days doing archery, riding ponies, building forts in the woods, swimming, canoeing, and exploring nature — with a strict no-electronics policy that parents love and kids don't even miss once they arrive.

We run camps year-round: 11 weeks of summer camp plus fall break camp, winter break camp, and spring break camp. All camps include free bus transportation from three convenient Atlanta pickup locations, making it easy for busy families to give their kids the outdoor childhood they deserve.
