FAQs

  • Our goal is to make winter day camp affordable for every family. Because every kid deserves to experience summer camp.

    That’s why we offer an option to pay by the day. Sending a child to day camp for a whole week can become expensive for some families, so we offer a 2 to 5 day winter camp experience.

    Cost:

    $200 / 2 day

    $300 / 3 day

    $400 / 4 day

    $500 / 5 day

  • Kids aged 5-10 are welcome! Josh Powell Camp is the ideal place for your students to learn and have fun, whether this is their first day camp or they’re a seasoned adventurer.

  • We have a scenic camp location nestled in beautiful Acworth, GA. We’re proud to serve the greater Atlanta area, and we offer daily pick-ups for our campers at several locations around the region, as well as the option for convenient morning drop-off.   • We make every effort to ensure that kids enjoy their stay safely and come home happy and healthy every single day. Our counselors are college students and elementary school teachers, all of whom have passed thorough background checks and been trained to supervise our campers.

  • If you have any questions about the camp facilities and what a day in your student’s life will look like at camp, we encourage you to schedule a tour! Text the camp office (678) 369-0780, and we will be happy to assist you in planning your visit. Tours are currently unavailable on weekends in May due to camp preparation being in full swing.
